With over several years of medical experience in Orthopaedics, DR Rohit Kansal has completed his orthopedic training and residency at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research(PGIMER), Chandigarh, a premier tertiary care center in North India. Dr. Kansal is well versed with a variety of orthopedic procedures ranging from simple diaphyseal to complex Peri-articular fractures. He has gained vast experience in managing complex surgeries like deformity correction, nonunion, spine surgery, etc. He has completed his training in arthroplasty and sports injury from PGIMER and is successfully doing joint replacement surgeries including hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow replacement since then. Dr. Kansal is serving society with the utmost compassion and thereby providing patient-centered care with a prime focus on patients’ early mobilization and rehabilitation.
Dr. Kansal has huge exposure to Orthopaedic trauma and thereby successfully manages complex highway traumas, run-over injuries, traumatic amputations, compound/open fractures, etc. He has also been exposed to varieties of Paediatric fractures and deformities like cubitus/genu varum/valgum, club foot, torticollis, contractures, DDH, Perthes, SCFE, etc., and has been successfully treating these patients. He is also extending a helping hand to geriatric patients and thereby educating, guiding, and treating them for various age-related degenerative diseases such as osteoporosis, arthritis, spondylosis, disc prolapse, etc.
